JBY's 2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Community Harmony in Lehigh Valley
Children of all backgrounds and cultures gathered together to celebrate Juneteenth at the Easton Area Public Library.
Ms. Mahogany led the families in festive song and dance; outside on the library's terrace.
Children and teens engaged in arts and crafts, watched an educational animated movie about Juneteenth, and recited the poem, "Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou, performed by Ms. Mahogany, during the event's poetry read -along.
